Suspension Reimbursements

Any member receiving a definite suspension of 30 days or less from the Chief of Police, may take advantage of the Family Assistance Bank and receive a reimbursement of 75% of their base salary. The member must submit a request for reimbursement within eight (8) working days of the time written notification of suspension is received. Use of the Family Assistance Bank precludes payment of any further legal expenses by the Dallas Police Association in the appeal of the definite suspension.
